Forefront built Kingpin HMIS, a multi-tenant hospital management platform for accredited Kenyan facilities. Each hospital signs in through its own facility URL using a work email, with the platform organized around three areas: front desk (check-in, triage routing, queue), clinical (OPD, IPD, theatre, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and programme modules), and finance (SHA billing, eligibility, and claims).
The platform covers patient registry and SHA NUBAN enrollment, national MOH and KHIS2 reporting, and is built on FHIR R4 for interoperability with other health systems.
Outcome: A single system that takes a patient from check-in through clinical care to SHA billing and national reporting, instead of separate tools for each step.
